PREACH the WORD!!!

Brother Tony Weaver, our pastors son in law, recently moved back home from Miami Beach, Florida. He is in Medical School. When he came back he began to preach alot of messages so I want to share them. They have really touched me. I believe there are 3 or 4.

1.unlocking the world
*God called us from our mothers womb and He's given us a duty and a choice.
*There's a differnce in being a child of God and a creation of God.
*We live our fleshly life through the created son (Adam).
*We live out holy life through the only begotten son (Jesus)
*When we become begotten sons, we become more like God.
*We all the opportunity to become begotten sons.
*We become a begotten son by dying.
*If the old man doesn't pass away then the new man can't rise.
*You have to evaluate your life.
*A saint fights temptation MORE than a sinner because a saint doesn't give in to temptation.
*You can't understand temptation if you give in to it.
*Jesus has the power to overcome the power of sin.
*Sin has lost its sting because death was the sting and Jesus overcame death.
*When temptation and action get together, lust is conceived.
*If we REFUSE, then we can resist satan and he will flee.
*We all have a death sentence and the countdown has already begun.
*We have to die before we can be born again because the OLD MAN MUST DIE.
*You have to draw a line in the sand to show satan where you stand.
*You have to get serious with the Lord.
*People dress diffent because we begin to represent Jesus, speak different also.
*You have to preach the word in a way that people can understand.
*Hudini escaped from many things.
*He understood locks and how to get out of them, he had a way to escape.
*We get in bad situations and we escape.
*There's one lock that Hudini can't escape and that's death.
*There's only one man that holds the key to death and hell and that is JESUS!!!!
2.the conception of GRACE
*We evaluate where we are
*It's important to search oneself
*When we examine everything, we see seperation
*Seperation is being apart, not together
*We're constanyly seperation God from our lives
*Christians have to bridge the gap between the church and the world, it's OUR JOB
*What is grace? Grace is favor- the UNDESERVED favor of God
*Grace is something we don't deserve but God still gives us favor
*Grace is only given to Christians
*Repentence combined with grace gives salvation
*The thing that seperates us from God is sin
*God allows us to be tempted, but he doesn't tempt us
*Lust is evil desires, any kind
*All it takes is one thing for God to get us
*Joseph's flesh rose up when he found out Mary was pregnant
*Mary is us
*People are confused because they don't see our spirit or type everywhere
*The Holy Ghost is conceived inside of us and people notice
*When we have the Holy Ghost, we have Jesus inside of us
*The end product of sin is death
*The conception of sin comes from personal choice because you choose what you think
*God gives you the power to choose what you think
*God has plan for some of us that the world and people say we cannot do but we're called and appointed so we have to press on
*Press on tho the mark of God
*If you can conceive it then you can believe it and God can help you receive it
*Conception begins then rightousness comes
***NO DEPRESSIMONIES!!!! TESTIMONIES!!!!!!!
*Look at the positive things
*Peolple bring problems and a repented heart to the altar and God meets you there and Jesus adds grace and grace yields salvation and salvation yields eternal live
*Grace is the ultimate flavor
*After grace there's hope of eternal life which means you are royal and an heir to everything in heaven
*Grace and faith is like beans and rice
*Pilot did not recognize truth and he was standing right in front of Him
*Grace and Hope = sons and daughters of God
*The safest thing to do is find out the will of God and stay there
*God is full of grace and truth
*It's amazing that we get grace that we don't deserve

3. how much are you worth?
*we understand that God has kept us through our most difficult times
*how much

SpEaK tHe WoRd LoRd

We're called and we are chosen. We all have a purpose in the church of Christ. He wants to use each one of us in every way he can. But what am I called to do???
I struggled with this question for a LONG time. I used to always sit back and just let everybody else testify and sing and shout and pray. I GOT TIRED OF THAT!!!! I used to be wayyyyy to shy to get up and sing because I would say I can't sing good so I don't want to make anybody sit there and suffer through the pain of hearing me sing. Then I began to get myself in the position with God that I knew I needed to be in. The bible says in Psalm "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord" Now I can't sit back in a service. I'm there early on my knees praying and anytime I'm asked to sing unless I'm gosh awful sick, I sing. I MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE!!! I can't just sit there. I have to stand up and praise the Lord. I honestly believe my calling is to sing and to help with the youth. My mission trip to the Philippines this summer really gave me boldness. If standing in front of 1000s of Filipino kids didn't make me bold then having Mr. Tebow make me sing in front of the Americans certainly did. I'm so thankful.

I believe in my last post I said something about my boyfriend being my prayer partner and helping me and keeping me strong. Well, he is no longer my boyfriend. I was so heartbroken even though I was the one that ended the relationship. As a day turned into a week and a week turned into a month, I realized that I had gotten so much stronger in the Lord. Sometimes the Lord has to take us to our lowest point to get us back where he wants us to be. Just look at Job and Samson and the Prodigal Son. I believe God had me go through this to get stronger. I don't think I've ever prayed as much as I have and I don't think the Lord has ever spoken to me as much as he has been speaking to me lately!!! JUST SPEAK THE WORD LORD!!! Thats all I ask for now. Lord just speak to me. Lead me and guide me. Show me what you would have me to do!!!!! SPEAK THE WORD LORD AND YOUR SERVANT WILL GO!!!! I'm glad that I've gotten so much closer to the Lord. Even though it took me losing the relationship with the boy that I was completely in love with. I know if it is the Lords will for us to be together then He'll put us back together in his time but if it's not his will then OHHHH WELL!!!! For now, I'm saying SPEAK THE WORD LORD!!! I'll listen, I'll go, I'll do what You want me to do!!! I'll keep falling in love with the Lord more and more each dayy!!!!!!!!! I'm glad that I'm continuing to grow spiritually!!!

Speak the Word Lord

The Best Thing I Ever Done!

WOW! I can't believe I'm actually writing a blog!!!!! lol!
But I have A LOT on my mind!
1st I fell in love with JESUS a long time ago. Three years ago to be exact! But since those three years, I've failed him sooooo much! Do I regret it? of course I do. But often times I look back and realize that it made me so much stronger. What would we be able to praise God for if we never went through trials? I recently went through a trial where I was ready to just through in the towel and give up. The Lord had another plan!!!!

We had our anniversary service at church Sunday morning so Sunday night we omitted service. Any time we omit service, I go to another church (Memorial Baptist)! So I went with my little brother and my friend, Angel. The service was getting started when we got there and we sat down and listened. Brother Scott Weaver sang a couple songs and then Sister Brittney McDonald got up and sang "If My People" and she began to sing another song. I don't know what its called so if anybody can help me out with that I would greatly appreciate it!!!! It says I'm gonna find me a doctor, to work on my heart, he'll look past all the bad parts and when the surgery is over, i'll become a new man, and that doctor will become my best friend or something like that! Brittney stopped sing and sat back down and Brother Scott continued to sing it because the Spirit of the Lord was moving!!! So Brittney went up and continued to sing. Then the pastor, Brother Chad Orso, came out and started singing. The Lord really began to move on me. I couldn't hold it back anymore. I was ready to submit and LET GOD BE GOD!!!!  Angel looked and saw me praying and asked me to go to the altar with her and I practically ran!!!! After I left the altar, I felt so at peace! Everything fell right back into place. The trial I had been going through was over! And now I have joy unspeakable!!!!!


Now I know that FALLING IN LOVE WITH JESUS WAS DEFINITELY THE BEST THING I EVER DONE!!!!!!!!

I really have my joy back. I know it was just last night that all this happened but it's just been an amazingly great day!!!!!!!!!! :))
